Oregon State University Wildfire Survey

The purpose of this survey from Oregon State University is to examine the individual and family responses to the 2020 wildfires and smoke hazards in Oregon. In particular, the University hopes to better understand how Oregonians received or communicated information about the fires and smoke hazards. The results of the survey will be used to make policy suggestions that prepare Oregonians for future wildfires.

The purpose of this survey is to examine the individual and family responses to the September 7-20, 2020 wildfires and smoke hazards in Oregon. In particular, we hope to better understand how Oregonians received or communicated information about the September 2020 wildfires and smoke hazards. The results of the survey will be used to make policy suggestions that prepare Oregonians for future wildfires.  

The survey will take approximately 7 minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for providing our Oregon State University, Portland State University and the University of Oregon research group with information about how your household responded to or was affected by the September 2020 Oregon wildfires and smoke. You must be over 18 years old and resided in Oregon during the period September 7-20th in order to be eligible to complete this self-administered survey instrument.
