UPDATE – Emergency RV Placement Permit Fees Waived

To help, advise and issue permits for RV/Trailer septic and electric hookups to residents of the McKenzie Valley returning to their properties after the fire, Lane County will be at the McKenzie Fire Station in Leaburg tomorrow the 23rd October between 10am – 2pm. They intend this to be a regular event going forwards but watch this space for updates.

Read the below document for more detail but it starts – A six month, Emergency Placement Permit is authorized by Section 11.120(3) of Lane Code, which states, “A six month permit may be issued for recreational vehicles to be connected to an existing sewage disposal system for temporary emergency use…”

This type of permit may be issued on a limited basis for:

  1. Temporary living quarters following a physical emergency on
    the property caused by flood, fire or other disaster.
  2. Temporary living quarters during the construction of a
    dwelling or mobile home placement, if a permit has been
    issued for that development.
