Blue River Bottle Boys Win Statewide Earth Day Competition!

Oregon BottleDrop ran a social media video competition last week to celebrate Earth Day and the CDC helped our local superstars Pete Petty and Monty Wilson to enter with a short video showcasing the incredible work the Bottle Boys do. Check it out below.

They Won!

Adding to the nearly $10,000 they have already raised for McKenzie recovery efforts the Bottle Boys won an extra $200 in the statewide competition on Friday! As important as the money is, this recognition of their dedication and service to the entire McKenzie Valley community is well deserved, these guys are the real deal!

If you see them out there picking up discarded cans and bottles, give them a shout of encouragement and thanks! They truly are an inspiration to us all as we work together to build back better.
