There is a wealth of resources available to support relief, clean-up, recovery, and rebuilding efforts, yet navigating through large volumes of information and identifying which are relevant to specific cases is challenging at the best of times.

The McKenzie CDC aims to identify, disseminate and clarify information in order to help connect people in the valley with the right resources and ensure that residents do not miss out on any relevant opportunities. In addition, we are committed to advocating for the needs of the community, amplifying the voice of residents so that it is heard and acknowledged by decision-makers at all levels of government. In the years to come, this will be key to securing the substantial resources which will be needed to enable the long-term recovery of the McKenzie valley.

Rebuild Bigger & Better!

“Rebuilding bigger, better for the kids, giving them something to hold on to for good. Our timeframe for that is a year or two, hopefully, sooner, but there’s a lot of cleanup to be done and we’re not going to jump ahead and leave our neighbors behind. I See Opportunity

“I think the river community will rebuild and from what I see I think it’s going to rebuild stronger. It’s something that I’d love to be there to see and be a part of.
