Donate to Help McKenzie Valley Communities this #GivingTuesday
Give to The McKenzie CDC on #GivingTuesday, November 30th to help the communities of the McKenzie River valley recover from the devastating 2020 wildfires.
#GivingTuesday is a day dedicated to generosity and giving. It occurs the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. It’s a day to acknowledge the power of giving, volunteerism, and simple acts of kindness. Please consider donating to The McKenzie CDC to help our communities and businesses recover and build a better future together and support the greater good. Every donation and act of kindness counts.
You can donate through the yellow PayPal Donate button below and just select ‘Support General Recovery Projects’ on the payment screen. No PayPal account is required to donate and thank you in advance for any help you are able to offer!

A lot has happened since the Holiday Farm Fire devastated the McKenzie Valley community. Our residents, local organizations, and elected representatives have rallied admirably and achieved concrete progress towards recovery. Read our Holiday 2021 Newsletter for updates on what progress is being made.
Alongside heartbreaking milestones such as the one-year anniversary of the fire on Labor Day, we have also celebrated hard-earned positive ones, such as the cleanup of Blue River Park, which had most of its trees destroyed, but has – with the help of volunteers and support from organizations such as the McKenzie River Chamber of Commerce – been able to bring forth beauty and hope for the community from the ashes, much like the wonderful “Viribus” sculpture which now stands on Blue River’s Cascade Street.
Don’t forget to use social media to spread the word! Talk about how you give back to your community using the hashtag #GivingTuesday
