Spectrum TV, Internet, and Phone Services Restored
Spectrum has announced that after working in conjunction with Lane Electric they have finished rebuilding the more than 30 miles of their network that was destroyed in the fire and have now restored service to an area stretching roughly from Vida to McKenzie Bridge.
Work to repair the network began as soon as the area was safe to access in late September and Spectrum was able to restore service for much of the area well before the damage was completely repaired last week.
“Immediately upon assessing the damage, we knew completing these repairs was going to be a massive project that would require a substantial investment. We live and work in these communities, so many of our employees were personally impacted by the fires. I couldn’t be prouder of their response and the commitment Spectrum made to helping rebuild this area.” – Danielle Wade, Spectrum’s Area Vice President
The same products and services that were available before the fire are now available again to customers throughout the area. Spectrum told me that:
“Obviously, we are aware there remains extensive damage throughout the region, including to homes and businesses but as customers are ready to reconnect their service, they can contact us to schedule an appointment.”
